Please Read CarefullyKaako operates exclusively as an online commerce facilitator and storefront software platform connecting independent buyers and sellers. Kaako is not a party to direct, unverified, or off-platform financial transactions between independent parties, and Kaako is not legally responsible or liable for any individual or entity getting defrauded on the platform.
However, Kaako maintains an uncompromising zero-tolerance stance toward fraud and misconduct, and we aggressively police, investigate, suspend, and cooperate with law enforcement authorities regarding any activity or listing that violates our Terms of Use or threatens community trust.
1 Strictly Prohibited Goods & Activities
Users, merchants, and storefront operators must not upload, list, sell, or solicit any of the following items or services on Kaako:
- Nudity, Pornography & Adult Content: Any sexually explicit content, adult services, pornographic imagery, or obscene media.
- Diabolic, Occult & Harmful Ritual Items: Any services, talismans, charms, or materials claiming mystical, ritualistic, diabolic, occult, or fraudulent supernatural powers.
- Scams, Advance-Fee Fraud & Extortion: Any schemes designed to mislead buyers into unverified advance wire payments or pyramid schemes.
- Counterfeits & Stolen Merchandise: Pirated software, fake brand goods, stolen phones, or smuggled items.
- Weapons, Explosives & Controlled Substances: Firearms, toxic chemicals, illegal drugs, or prescription narcotics.
Violation of these prohibitions results in immediate account termination, storefront blacklisting, forfeiture of pending listings, and criminal referral.
2 Merchant Account Activation & Verification
To ensure genuine trade, all new merchant accounts must be officially verified via our WhatsApp verification desk (+237 678 49 60 40). Until an account is authenticated, listings cannot be published to the public catalog.
3 Buyer Safety Guidelines & Reporting Abuse
We advise buyers to inspect goods upon delivery or use Kaako Guarantee for escrow and on-site verification. If you witness suspicious behavior, counterfeit products, or scam attempts, click the "Report Abuse" button available across every product and storefront page, or contact our 24/7 WhatsApp hotline directly at +237 678 49 60 40.
